Some of you may know that i have been trying to get an interior for my wedge for a year now.
Well yesterday i drove down Richchefs' at salisbury and collected a full interior. Rich had pointed out some numbers written on the back of the panels, the colour matched what little i had and we wondered?
I got home and checked the numbers against what i had...guess what.... this is the actual interior from my wedge.
Brought a big smile to my coupon that did. The wedge will soon be whole and almost as it was when it left Blackpool.
Fate or coincidence, dont care, am so pleased!
made me feel all girlie, like one watching a romcom. Tears to the eye!

I made this a wiki in error, have asked the mods to remove. sorry.

Well that eases my worry that it might not fit after such a long drive! Even better that the car and interior have been re-united biggrin

It was really good to meet you and put a face to the name. I hope have no issues getting it fitted (tho how that roll cage affects thing i don't know) and you get to enjoy it (preferably with some sun but you have the wet weather option). If you make the BBWF next year then i will be checking smile

I think it was GrahamW48 who bought a set of original-pattern Telcast wheels as spares for his car, they turned out to be the ones from my Tasmin that I'd sold to be chopped into a racecar some years earlier.

Spooky, how does that work, dont understand why the interior would be removed. Although, I do know of an ex partner that threw an opended can of 1 ltr gloss paint into a car once......you'd be surprised how much £45 worth of Farrow & Ball (she wernt cheap), can write off a very expensive car very easily....and I loved that car rolleyes

Yeah gogs, been thinking about that. Not sure what to do now. I bought the car with a view to hillclimb / speed trial it. but as the months have moved on i like it so much that a full resto has sneaked up on me. i still have it my mind to enter the scottish hillclimb series in 2014, but then again, take the cage out and fully restore, swinging to a full restore at the moment.
