So I'm in Middlesborough and the hotel I have booked
has changed hands and is now a Hungry Horse Pub !
Would have been useful to put that on the website one would think !
So where is good to eat in Middlesborough ?
Curry ? Thai ? What do you recommend for a chap on his own for two nights ?
Cheers all.

Nothing wrong with a Hungry Horse! Go for the "Man vs Burrito"!

^ That's not a genuine parmo though.....

OP try Namaste or Akbars for curry, Starters down at the Cinema complex is good too for something a little different.

Or just rock down to Europa for a proper Parmo.....

If you can drive a bit, take in some ok roads and head to Great Ayton to the Buck Inn for a decent parmo!

So I thought I'd risk a steak and watch the football.
9oz sirloin not the 20oz monster.
Bad move, tough and rubber like.
Can't see this being supplied to Hungry Horse by a local butcher.
I'm going for curry tomorrow........

If you can drive a bit, come up to Newcastle.

Curry for the masses I am told.
Last night tonight?

Chai Wallah in Yarm is great for Curry and I suggest you always go off Piste. Let the man (big hair) just pick your dinner for you. Never had a bad one yet going that way and you know it is then cooked to order every time.
Agree, he is great, I told him what I like in a curry and he said 'I know just the thing' - not a clue what it was called but it was brilliant!

The locals get upset if you can't spell Middlesbrough.
