The owner of this Lamborghini Gallardo did a rather more thorough job of smashing his car, after poor customer service apparently.
Is the tone a bit anti-Western?
"Maserati has yet to respond. Consumer rights are a hot topic in China these days with many Chinese fuming against the perceived ‘arrogance’ of especially Western companies. A relatively small conflict can under these circumstances easily get out of hand, in a bad way. Maserati better respond quickly, announcing a serious investigation or such, otherwise the whole country could get angry…"
Maserati better respond and quickly or the whole country will get angry? A bit dramatic! And anyone with more knowledge than I, just how strong are consumer rights in China anyway?

But it is true they're not getting the right service for the price unlike here in the UK,
especially after paying 2-3 times more for it..
Maserati Quattroporte with descent options cost around half million dollar in China.
