Aye the old external locust of control. The rain caused the back wheels to slide. The road let go of the tyres. Anything but my fault...
That's funny. We used to have a "Locust". Ladder frame chassis, marine ply body, Cortina Mk 5 suspenders and a Lotus twin cam engine. We didn't need rain for the back wheels to slide, or the fronts for that matter. Sold to an unsuspecting German gentleman as a form of delayed reparations.
