Hi all...this is my new toy...needs some love and attention....but should be the business once finished..
I am thinking....AJ6 Engineering high torque inlet manifold/big bore throttles....straight through pipes...Koni gas shocks...decent brakes...and perhaps a manual conversion later on..but doesn't the plate just finish it?..

I've got the AJ6 engineering bits on my V12, along with a manual transmission. It's pretty brisk, but the gearing is looooong with the 2.88 diff you get in the V12. I think its geared for 260 mph!

lol...that would be something, eh?..the first 200mph XJS...and probably 25 mpg too??...not bad going...but I reckon a 3;54 from the 3.6 sportspack is the way...should be very punchy...

I have the 3.54 diff and the rear axle from a 4.0L 96 car with the 3speed auto.
Acceleration is sooo much better, but top speed is around 125-130 on 235/40/17's , so it hits the limiter now on a few tracks.
I am also getting the AJ6 plus torque conversion soon, should make it even quicker to 100.
Nice find.

Well, I have a couple of sets of 15 x 7.5 Speedlines...I would probably stick with 235/60/15..plenty of grip but comfortable too...and as its factory size, it wouldn't affect the gearing unless I go with the 3;54 diff...in which case I would probably be better off with 17's..or stay with the 15's and just chew the road to 100...and then die! lol...

235/60/15s are pretty much the same as 235/45/17s so no gearing issues.

Would love to get the 3.54 diff fitted to mine, but it's rusty bits first, then the fun stuff.

I bet it would really shift, though.

Forgot to ask, is this TWR a 6 litre?

Its a 5.3, but has the TWR air intakes...there may be some mild engine tuning, I am not sure at this stage..
