Here we go again; the cynic in me might almost believe this is some sort of set up. Use the PH search to find out what the PH collective thinks of the chap. Bought a car from him once myself a long while ago and was perfectly happy, and is used and respected by many, including notable car buyer Mr Metcalfe, although many are not too keen.
Yes purchased a LP640 Roadster a year ago
Perfect, not a problem to deal with and very helpful and have a cracking relationship with warrantywise should a problem arise.
Proof in the pudding for these companies is when you get a problem, and from first hand experience they dealt with an issues if it had not been them I doubt I would have have been as smooth
Well recomend

Tom Hartley, the man with his name above the door and the dealership get positive reviews on the whole. The offspring who work at the company however, judging by their social media rantings, thread replies and the inexcusable racism they've posted, are not people I'd spend any quantity of time with, let alone do any sort of business with. True characters are revealed fairly swiftly when you give an idiot a platform such as Twitter to utilise.
They do have a lot of examples going through the company, so I'd seek out Hartley Snr and deal with him directly if I really wanted something they had.

Typically, they're disliked by a large number of PH'ers who have perhaps never bought from them and generally rated by those that have. I viewed a 997T there and they couldn't have been more helpful. They do have a lot of examples going through the company, so I'd seek out Hartley Snr and deal with him directly if I really wanted something they had.
The tweets of THsnr's offspring are a little iffy though, but my experience would suggest it's not consistent with the wy the company does business
As stated, the business is one thing, the people you choose to do it with are another.
"Iffy" is one thing, making racist comments on social media platforms for the world to read is quite something else. I fail to see how a few members on here, on the related thread at the time, failed to grasp this. You simply cannot say such things and expect to have your name praised. If you create and actively distribute negativity, it will eventually find its way back to you. If it wasn't for this perpetual stupidity then I would only have had good words to say as I know a number of people that have bought from the company without issue. The son of a super car dealer's lairy lifestyle is certainly nothing to get upset about, let him enjoy it I say. What is puzzling is when people think you have to purchase a car from someone to discover their true character. They've been sharing their opinion with the world through twitter, it's not hearsay that has showcased their bigotry. I get the funny feeling that when you are handing over cash, the racial epithets are suddenly absent..
I'd probably avoid making excuses for people that behave in such a manner, it doesn't reflect well at all..

Internet people love spreading bad news. That's a fact.
So it looks like the son is a complete prat, therefore every thread which appears gets mired in this part of the conversation. In spite of this, a good friend of mine has bought a number of cars from them and (like most others with first-hand experience) has nothing but praise.

I sold a car to them last year, they were the strongest bidder by 5k, arranged to collect and were a pleasure to deal with, they sold my car on very easily at a good mark up so are doing something right.
Twitter is the equivalent of pub talk and some of the comments portray them poorly IMHO but I'd deal with again
I follow a few 'professionals' on twitter and alcohol plus smartphone can create cringeworthy tweets from the most surprising quarters.

I sold Tom Jr. my DB9......and bought a 612 from him.
Zero problem, exactly as described, no issues whatsoever. I would do business with him again in a heartbeat.
Tell me Justices, how many cars have you traded with TH?
£50 to your nominated charity if you can prove it's anything other than zero.

But that's irrelevant! I have not dealt with him & never would...Zero problem, exactly as described, no issues whatsoever. I would do business with him again in a heartbeat.

Some people are happy to ignore the fact that he is a total co5k & thats fine but I wouldn't deal with someone who may 'tweet' shi7 about me after leaving his showroom just coz I never bought a car!
But then I wouldn't buy jewellery from Gerald Ratner either & maybe you would

TH advertised a Diablo 6.0 VT as a one owner also described the Diablo as pristine
On arrival the Diablo was far from pristine and V5 showing four former keepers
What i found strange was how TH tried to explain how a one owner car became a four owner car
Also the trouble i had trying to get srevice information and vin number was an unusual experience
Futher more when i asked what can the be bought for today he replied "not a penny less than £100k"
Yet after talking to TH directly and looking at the car he said i could have it for £83k that was without me making an offer
I found the whole experience bizarre
Saying that he had some mouthwatering metal and lovely place of residence

I'm assuming I missed some tweet that was derogatory to Chinese folk?
