Guess I am officially old - Insurance renewal

So got the renewal through for the Cerbera this week. Same policy, same terms, same everything. £60 cheaper!
I'm guessing 45 is the tipping point for policies these days - didn't it used to be 25???

Usually hate opening the post but this was quite pleasant, actually looking forward to Chimaera renewal - Flux and I have an understanding that the Chimaera won't be dearer than the Cerbera

I am thinking premiums have generally reduced. I have just beaten my renewal quote from the incumbant by £200 on my Tam. Worth a ring round.

I did the ring round of the usual specialists and Confused.com but none could come near Adrian Flux so pretty pleased with that.

I'm at the mercy of admirals pricing though, all other companies want 3k+ or won't even touch me.

Thats an amazing quote at 22 years old , i bet you thought it was a incorrect quote at that price and had to ask again, nice one.

Maybe this is the happy effect of insurers having to remove the male/female differential? I believe it's true that women have more claims per mile driven (though men do more miles), so charging them more as a whole has helped balance sheets.

Blimey, I was paying £1000 on a modified 450 at the same age (unlimited miles, only car)

Living in scotland helps dramaticly.

When I was looking at univerities in london, they wanted £1500!



Been with admiral for 5 years now and when I phone them up for renewal, they always give me a good discount for loyalty or do a bit extra to help when there is a problem. They've made alot of money from me!

Mine went from £750 last year to £500 this year. NCB went from 9 to 10 years so it isn't that. I was thinking time of ownership of the car??
