I think it could be welded up or used as a patten for someone,
I'll have a go at cleaning it up, see how bad it is

I had my friendly fabricator over on Saturday, I had cut out the rot on my cradle and was just grinding back the red oxide ready to weld a few patches on, I found so much more rot I ended up taking it off and he took it away to replace 90% of the box section, I suspect you will find yours is not much better like I said I had all ready had a good look at it previously !

As a side note he also repaired my trailing arm rock solid ,straight as a die and should last years !
