If like me you are a teeny bit concerned about TVRs new strategy - and have always had nagging doubts about the speed six engine - and hanker after the Griff/Chim/Cerb days - you may have had a shape intake of breath on opening EVO to page 46 and seeing the new Marcos TS0 R/T.

First thought - TVR are building the Griff again, yeahhh!

Second thought - Oh, its a Marcos.

But its is designed the fill the Griff shaped void in our lives, is styled by a TVR man and looks like an updated Griff. AN IT HAS A V8 !!!!!!!!!

Is the Griff back?????

I'd certainly give the Marcos serious consideration as an alternative to the TVR:

If I was in the market, at the moment, I'd be in a Marcos or Morgan Dealership, not a TVR one.

Very slow. Looks like there's a lot of PH'ers trying to access the site. Wonder why?

The more I see the pictures, the more I want it!!
Not 100% on the interior - reckon a swoopy leather one a la cerb would be much better.

Be even nicer to have the dials in front of you though.

PDF catalogue link doesn’t seem to work!

Nice exterior style except horrible metal plate bit on side. Interiour as good as TVR? Nah! Modern TIVs interior 10x better. Older TIVs such as 'look-a-like' Griff stil twice as good. Engine? Performance?

I think the concept is a winner - and will pick off TVR fans who bought the griff/chim - lovely simple lines, true open top, rorty V8 soundtrack, simple back to basics stuff. Handling by Prodrive sounds great too. Interior just needs to be more TVR-like.

just looking at the brochure, i'm suprised by the LSD being an option extra! 400bhp in a lightweight car and no LSD is madness!

cant see much of the interior in EVO, but the central tunnel seems a bit "square". Main issue is the dash / dials. Binnacle in front of driver would be better.

I like it. Not totally sold on the styling (inside or out), but LOVE the engine.

If they got rid of the strange "scales" on the side of the car I wolud love it. Or maybe it's just the colour. I think I prefer the TS500.

Having sat in and had a good look around one at the Birmingham show, I must admit that the interior is a bit of a let down (bit like the Tuscan II at the moment!) Luv the engine 5.7 400 brake V8!

But alas it does not inspire me as much as any of the TVR's.

So to answer your question NO!

Put the speedo in the centre and I'll have one (if I was in the market, which I'm not). Like the orange, yellow and the moody blue.
Not sure about the different colour stripe either but I guess you get used to it.
Saw the Cerb with the orgasmic living logo over the weekend and it looks awful. The guy who puts these on must suffer some serious job disatisfaction. It left as we were loading the Griff onto the low loader and whoever was driving it gave us a long hard look. Not sure who it was as it was pitch black by then.

Use the link for the .pdf that's above the engine picture, it works. Just spoke to them, the designer of the TSO is an ex-TVR person.
