Hello,

My car has come to the end of its PCP deal and we have the usual options. The fee to purchase the car is £4,400. According to webuyanycar it is worth £500 more than that and we reckon £1000 - £1500 more if we sell privately.

We plan to buy my brothers mini for a good price so figured we should buy our current car then sell it privately to make a quick profit (or recoup some of the payments we have been making anyway).

But that just seems too easy - am I missing something here? Are there some hidden costs / risks I haven't taken into account?

Any advice much appreicated.

Dave

We've just recently went through this was an Audi. Was as simple as the final monthly payment being for the remaining amount

No hidden costs, just pay the balance and the car's yours. Simple!
