A couple of questions for you all as you have all been so helpful to date. Firstly, can you get sun visors for Elise's, my retinas are being burnt away with this low winter/autum sun. Secondly is there anyway to increase the front downforce on an Elise other than the huge cost of a new front splitter??

I would love to know too.

To get round this at the moment I ensure I have sunglasses that fit snug to the eyes and keep the direct sun out.

Even so Sun visors would be a vast improvement.

My S2 Elise 'S' that I bought a year ago came with an options pack that included sun visors, but to be honest they are very small and are fairly useless - not sure if you could retro fit them anyway.

As my dealer told me, always keep a pair of sunglasses handy!

OK different idea, there is an identical S2 I have seen around where I live (Dudley, Lazer Blue s2). He has a Lotus Sport windscreen sticker thing (goes across the top of the screen in a 'Simon' and 'Tracy' kind of way). Not ideal but doesnt look too bad. Anyone seen these about?

Wrap round type sunglasses are essential, buy a cheapish pair or two to keep in the car for self and passenger. They also keep flies and rocks out of your eyes in summer!

For the sun visor try Bell & Colville or Hangar 111.

I'd just stick to shades if I were you.

Join SELOC and get a SELOC cap (very cool IMHO) and a decent pair of wraparounds.

Sun visors are for p*ssies and add unnecessary weight
