Fitted some new blades to my leven wipers, well summer is here!!, and due to the newer rubber they are sticking to the windscreen and not returning back to the park position. Took a bit of time to trace the problem but simply the bracket/bracket rubber that holds the motor has compacted & even though the nuts are tight as can be the motor is moving about. If I hold it they work fine. As we all know the motors are bloody expensive and really all I need is new rubber for the bracket and the rubber base it sits on. Cant find the part though so pointers please?.
Anyone else had the same issue and found a different solution??

Thanks

Will.

Have you tried trapping thin wedges between the motor and the bracket to pack the gap? Silicon?

Did you have a similar problem or just cosmetic?

cosmetic.... the rubber was perishing also i had a foam shop locally and he gave me a 6 inch square by 1 inch thick hard black piece of foam cut it to size so motor sits nicely and no vibrations at all
