A daft question I suppose, but where is the best place to park in Leeds, mid-week during the day?

I have my theory test at 11:00am, at the place on the Headrow. The last thing I want is to be driving around at 10:35 looking for a space!

Where would be the best car park to aim for to get straight in at 10:20 ish, that isn't too far from the Headrow?

Thanks

Mark

When I was at music college I always use to park behind 'Pratts' furniture shop, it's pretty cheap at 80p for 2 hours I think it was.

If that's full, try the street where the Maplins entrance is:

The most straightforward place, albeit not the cheapest would be the car park in the light.

Ops, for some strange reason I thought you were going to the DVLA place down at the bottom of Headrow. Totally forgot the theory test is done opposite the Library.

So yeah, go with his^ answer.

Light looks good, and I know how to get the to it, which is a bonus! Does it ever get full?

Thanks!

I parked in The Light which is opposite for my bike theory.
30 seconds walk.

The Light it is then!

Thank you all.

Now to practice hazard perception. I missed that by a month when I did my car theory years ago!

you could also try the underground at the Rosebowl (near Millenium Square).

The Light is most convenient but its ridiculously expensive...!

As someone else said all other times I use the other half of Pratts car park or the few streets around it. £1.60 for 4 hours. Think only £2.50 for the whole day. Hard to get a spot midweek though.

Yep. Go past Colton retail park entrance on your right. At small roundabout turn left. Then next right. Then follow it down to the bottom and the place is in front of you.

Coincidentally, I was in Leeds last night and the Light was indeed full. First time I've seen it happen mind. I managed to park in the market street parking area which was a very reasonable £2 after 5 or 6 pm I think.
