Hi all-have seen 2010 Cayman S at OPC & would be quite interested in acquiring my 1st Porsche. Dealer has knocked £1000 off sticker price. Does anyone think that because of release of new model, a further reduction in price may be possible in future on these models & should I hold off purchasing for couple of months. It is not a deal breaker, but aforementioned vehicle has 23500 miles-3 year old this month-would possibly prefer less mileage. Due major Service June '14-not sure what has been completed in previous Services-is vehicle coming to stage of needing brakes/discs etc? Any assistance much appreciated.

Life is short. Buy what you can afford as soon as possible and get out there and enjoy it!

+1! After deliberating over what to buy for weeks just decided to go for broke and buy a 997 turbo on Monday. As said above, life is too short.

The longer you wait, the cheaper it will be. Simple really.

Where it gets complicated is when you input the value of life quality into the equation....

Lucky you're not in the market for a 964rs... methinks the opposite may be true!

Indeed. I considered a 964 RS when I bought my 993 about 6 years ago. They were about 27k and I thought they were 'a bit dear'.

Oops.
