How much road was required for the 0 - 100 - 0mph record?

Its raining and cold and on watch at work on a dock in a marina which is 400 metres long, talking car stuff with colleagues. It gets me thinking would this be long enough for the Factory car to do the 0 100 0 record? Factory did you record the distance along with the time? Ult-jim
