Oil light keeps coming on, pressure sender ?
Discussion
Took the car out this morning and saw oil light flicker a couple of times, checked oil all fine, everything normal.
Came back and went out again just now, oil light now coming on more frequently and by the time of turning engine off doing it every few seconds. Pressure is as normal but did see some high readings of 57psi, then a few of the oil pressure warning 0psi.
I can only assume its the sender? Does that sound about right?
It's doing it at idle and randomly when driving, oil pressure otherwise totally normal.
If it is how easy is it to change over and where is it?
Thanks

Panic over (I think)
Thanks to,an old pistonheads thread I saw a pic of the sensor and recognised it, went to car, noticed it had come off its mounting and the wires were barely hanging on. Put it back, ran car up and hey presto normal pressures and no lights
So pistonheads fixes again, this time with no replies

The sensor is a bit Heath Robinson in its attachment to the car. Thanks to,an old pistonheads thread I saw a pic of the sensor and recognised it, went to car, noticed it had come off its mounting and the wires were barely hanging on. I mentioned that I was getting low'ish readings post re-build to Jason.
He fitted new sensor at 1000mls service. Hey presto, pressure back up to 65-68 psi on cold start up.
So, Can be like the RV8 cars where the sensor needs to be changed every 3-4 years?
