Hi

I was tinkering with my cerb yesterday to try and resolve the fact that the drivers window wouldn't rise. In so doing I briefly connected one of the door control ecu connectors into the wrong socket. Funny thing is now the drivers window rises but the car doesn't start! I also turned the magic Key off and on. Possibly a coincidence. Symptoms of not starting are: fuel pump primes and lights come on but continuous beep and no starter action.

Can anyone suggest a course of action? Reading past threads on here the immobiliser sounds a candidate - where s it located?

Silver key is your first point of call I'd suggest. After that tried the immobiliser key in the square slot?

Definitely check the fuses first. I can't remember off the top of my head which one, but one fuse is shared between the door controls and the ignition circuit.

It's in the boot RH side behind a carpet panel

Sorted now thanks everyone for chipping in. Blown fuse as expected.

Now I just need to sort the fact that my tyres are 15 years old and then I can finally drive it!
