If you have a mk2 and you have or have had coilovers on it.. What have you got/had and how good are/were they?

Please let me know because I'm looking for a kit to suit my needs and who better to ask than the people who drive them..

Don't really want to spend more than 600-700 quid.

I have meisterR coilovers on mine, but its a mk1.

I'd go for meisterR, or at least look into them, the difference with them is unreal!

damper adjuster is on the top which is a bonus!

look on mx5nutz "suspension section"

Have you told your insurance about them? I'm sure I read that they aren't TUV approved basically rendering them not road legal.....

Are you sure ? TUV is a german approval and only applies to aftermarket items in Germany or oem items that came with the car. AFAIK it does not apply to aftermarket stuff here in the UK.

Typical, I can't find that post anywhere now... Looks like the Meister R's are the ones to go for though. I've sent Jerrick a message on the nutz forum, hopefully he'll reply soon with some info for me smile

I'm 99% sure that does not Apply to us britischers have a look at parts catalogues and there is no mention of tuv approval. Nobody would buy them if it invalidated your insurance.

Rs4al - cheers for that.. I'm pretty sure I'm definitely going to get a set of the meisterr zeta-s for my car now. Thanks for clearing it up.
