Is that for track or daily driving? It seems a bit low for DD?

I wouldnt run a gt3 on ss unless it was a road car only and never used on track .

Cups are outstanding but in heavy rain pretty awful, so SS for the rain both on road and track.

I don't agree with may who tell me they are almost as good as cups on the dry track, I find another level of grip from the Cups

I am interested on the tyre pressure everyone else is using on track. Like I said earlier 33 on rears and 29 on front seems to wear evenly. Have to say one think Pilot Super Sport wear really well.

Thats what I thought! 29/33 seems very low, do you notice any increased wear running these pressures?

Yep, the car is for road use only.

One thing I have found is the tyre pressure seems to increase quite rapidly (according to the TPMS) after a few miles of spirited driving, anyone else notice this?

Kul - Given that the Cups run a very, very hard sidewall and the MPSS is bound to not be quite so stiff, I wouldn't run them at the same low pressures as the Cups! When I bought the car it was running Bridgestone RE050's and I found that 32(F) and 35(R) struck a better balance ..... biggrin

I know that you Mutt! biggrin No offence! hehe

I just mean that the air inside gets hot VERY quickly - never had TPMS sensors before so I didn't know the pressure increased so much with only a few miles.

A pleasure Mr N!

Really good to hear and I can't believe how much good use it's getting - so obviously you've smeared the original Cups all over Wales and needed some new rubber? I still miss it - so really hoping I've done the right thing! cry

Ahh - well the car should have arrived at the dealership on Saturday morning - so I'm (currently) booked in to collect the car at 9am on Friday morning - but awaiting an update - so fingers crossed! spin

Yeah, the original rubber has been stored in the garage. Still have a few mm left on the rears and the fronts are more or less perfect!

I decided on getting some new rubber after a 'moment' on the M4 during heavy rain with the cup tyres. I was driving quite slowly when the car just sat up on the water and I had no control whatsoever! Quite unnerving actually.

Decided to switch to Super Sports as I had them on my old C2S and they were amazing in all weather on a PH tour last year. I can always put the cups back on if I decide to go on a track day biggrin

Friday eh? I bet you will struggle to sleep all week! If you ever want a go in your old car again, just give me a ring! beer
