Just a quick topic to find out who (If anyone) stays up around the Highlands, I'm just about to move with my folks to Boat of Garten, just north of Aviemore anyone on here from around the area?

Not now but until recently I used to stay just up the road in Glenlivet.

Great area for outdoor stuff, great roads, Boat of Garten very nice and quiet but quite a bit going just down the road in Aviemore.

Hi guys, thanks for the response, I reckoned there would a few folk around Inverness and I'm really looking forward to living up there, Janluke, that's just what I'm hoping for, quiet around the house but with a good bit of liveliness nearby

Aberdeen based here but we have a house in Grantown upon Spey so just a few mins from you at Boat of Garten.

If you're a golfer then you'll have a great time. If not then get learning and you'll have a great time!!

If a mountain biker or downhiller then get over to Laggan on the other side of Aviemore. It's a great day out.
