They were (through the factory) but supplies at that price have dried up

Do you know if the box has a part number? My oposite in Koln deals with Getrag, I'm sure that if he can he'll contact them to see if they can help.
Or what Porsche does it go in?

It's the Getrag 6-Speed as fitted to the Porsche 996s

I had a chance to buy a Boxster S getrag at a good proce but the factory told me this was not the same box plus they modify the Getrag to a mechanical LSD.

GT3 box is totally different to the 996 Getrag unit that STIG is after so the internals they are advertising won't fit.

i wasent aware that their was different cases for the 996 shape porsche. I think id better do some more reading, ill look in the other posts on the forum, ive included the link to the porsche boxes, i think that holinger might make some more gears sets for diferent boxes, probably need to contact them.

Just really fancied a centre shift this time and weighing up the G50 arrangement with pushrods vs. the Getrag, I decided to go for Getrag.

They're both great, just fancied the more modern 6-speed I guess
