so. im posting this late at night and im drunk so might be that...

but I have just recently started riding motorbikes again, and my new helmet is quite noisy compared to my last lid. but I have noticed tonight that I am getting a high pitched EEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHH sound in my ears constanly, could this be tinitus or might it just be cause im pretty drunk?

i really hope its not a constant thing, as i can see it getting a pretty annoying thing if it is.

does it get better or have I damaged my hearing permanently? or is it just cause it pretty drunk and there is no other sound other than me typing on a keyboard?

i will be testing this out tomorrow when there is no other sound, and will be trying that out probably after I remember after viewing this thread again tomorrow.

It could be an ear infection. I'm prone to them for some reason and its started flaring up again over the past few days. Go and see your GP and they will have a look, prescribe some antibiotics if necessary etc.
