"Huntsman" as a username? As in the boat? Probably one of my all time favourites. Saw a lovely dark blue example follow us (well, more accurately pass!) when we left Southampton on Arcadia last year.

Yes, I'm lucky/stupid enough to have owned a Huntsman 28 for the last 10 years. Four tons of rotting mahogany....

How's that Cummins engine? When I saw it on a dyno a couple of months back it sounded good and was running clean.

Small world! He completed the resto in time for the Jubilee pageant last year so not out of the question to bring her down south again.

Cummins engine was fantastic. There was some coolant weeping last year due to a duff batch at Bowman but I understand they agreed to replace the manifold.

Yes, I was there on the day, I've been mulling over a Cummins repower for a long time, but there were other matters, such as structural integrity!!, to resolve first.

Paul is doing a pair to replace HT6's right now, I just sold him a spare pair of adapter plates for the job, incidentally his own Huntress goes like the clappers, he fitted a 315 B series but ended up winding it down a bit as 8 knots at idle wasn't manageable...

Damn! I need a pair of adapter plates... I'm replacing my Ford Dorset 180's with a pair identical to Hugo's set up.

A Halmatic Weymouth 32 - like a Nelson only beamier (and better!).

I used to have a 1938 32' seaplane tender by British Powerboat Company, so I know the Forth Roadbridge feeling of maintaining a wooden boat.

Oh, extraciting!! I have a BPB Boat, 20' 6" racing boat. What happened to yours?

Built a new manshed last year big enough for it to fit, hopefully once a couple of car projects are cleared I'll get on with it.

I have a Vosper Thorneycroft 70' MTB - but it's an r/c model scratchbuilt from plans (anyone remember MAP?). In early tests it set a world speed record for one length of a bath!

Ah ok, you owned that one, at least at that size you've got a chance, the big MTB's and MGB's, lovely as they are, are just not a viable proposition, unless one has a man that does.
