Sadly couldn't get pics as driving but this morning saw a Panamera on other side of the motorway which was finished in what can only be described as black suede? Is this for real?

Also saw one of the brand new Astons with weird back end and a beautiful classic which I have no idea what it was. Need to get a car camera to snap these things!

The Aston with a different rear could be a coachbuilt one like a Zagato

Yes that is the one! Well I assume there is only one. How strange! Stood out though.

Aston was brand new, almost race car like.

Lol. I saw that Panamera the other day and meant to ask if anyone on here knew about it. Definately catches the eye.

A picture or footage of the suede Lotus Europa Rallycross car I recall clearly from the late 60s or early 70s?

How does the owner keep it clean? He presumably doesn't drive down country roads covered in horse poo.

I've seen it here in East Grinstead a couple of weeks ago too so perhaps he has a country retreat round these parts. Gotta say not sure it'd be my choice but made us look twice and we re obviously not the only ones!

Saw the panamera in Brighton on Friday. Looks surreal, like a posterised cartoon. Very interesting visual to see in real life.

There used to be a rally Escort mk3 Getrag(?) if I recall correctly, which had carpet covered front wings... A sponsor deal and eas meant to show how stain resistant the carpet was. Quite cool and caught my imagination as a kid.

I've seen the Panamera a few times in East Grinstead too, it certainly made me do a double take the first time I saw it, even though I'd seen the pics of the net - looks a bit cartoon like but in real life - weird!

Suede or Moleskin that's the real question?

Either way, it's certainly eccentric and sort of looks ok and will most probably not be copied by the fashionistas.

The owner must also own a good steam cleaner though.....

I too saw it on the M25 this week, it looks really funny. Not sure why you'd do it, other than "you could".
