Where best to market a quattro?

I thought I'd post in here rather than the Audi section as this relates more to a classic car.

I've got a 1983 mars red ur quattro which my wife has finally run out of patience with and has given me the ultimatum that it now has to go, as she knows that it will be a few years before I can get round to restoring it.

The head gasket went a few years ago and it needed a new head, so it went into storage and since then other events have overtaken, such as trivialities like moving house, getting married and having a son.

So, the time has come for it to move on. I therefore wondered where the best place to market it would be, other than fleabay? Which are the best forums?

Also, anyone any thoughts as to value and asking price? (bearing in mind that storage costs are minimal and wifey doesn't want me to give it say - probably because she has the proceeds earmarked!).

My other justification for shifting the Audi is that goes towards the restoration of my Golf. I'd rather have one car 100% rather than two in bits and funds don't allow the restoration of both.

Audi forums seem the best bet.Do some research set a price and stick to it !
Everybody and his aunty will try to beat you down on price and dodgy den and his cousins will all tell you 'nah mate it aint wurf nothin like that '.

I thought http://www.quattroforum.com/index.php was the main quattro forum these days. Certainly it's where I look when I'm in the mood to do something with my cq.

How much are you thinking of, not that I dare buy yet another car it's hard to get parts for?

In case youve not seen it else where, there is a thing that is yellow and easy to use for selling cars etc - its called
eeee - bay.

Also worth trying PH classified.

How much do you want for the car ?
I'll start at £1500 but I expect you already know how much it might be worth?
