This sums it all up for me;

I have a problem with my car, don't know what's wrong or what to do.

Post a message and get loads of helpful replies and even an offer of assistance.

Then some bloke I've never met, and who doesn't know me from Adam, goes out of his way to come round to my house and fix my car for free, saving me loads of hassle and expense, and wants absolutely nothing for it.

It makes me think the world isn't such a bad place after all.

Thanks a million to Andy4200, afore mentioned "Bloke".

Top Fella!

Excellent. There's always someone of PH to the rescue, whatever the subject.

Big it up to Ted and the power of PH

Aw shucks.... it wasn't that big a deal and it's not fixed yet, I just helped you get on your way again so you could get it fixed.

Sounds like Joolz is already working on it.

Don't play it down Andy that was a really top thing to do. Should have took a £5 for a four pack though!

As I keep saying... it's not a brand thing, it's a pistonHeads thing... and long may it be so

On the last leg back from EuroHoon apparently two TVRs and a Porsche were in convoy at a steady 100 or so - Porsche gets a speeding ticket. As the other two didn't get nabbed (French didn't know what they were I suspect!) they all split the cost of the fine.

Sometimes there is hope for this world

Sadly Gemini, the perfect timing and sublime wit of that line will be lost if he deletes one of them.

Interesting! I really need a million pounds to sort out my Griff. If there's anyone out there, please feel free to get in touch.

What did you do to it? Run over it with a steam-roller?

I live near you pete, I have a chainsaw, a hammer and some other sharp, blunt or heavy things I could use to fix it

When should I pop over, won't take long.
