Just got a 430 Scuderia and there is a really annoying rattle / vibration from the driver's door at high speed. It only happens when the window is closed and your at 'motorway' speeds. When you drop the window the noise goes away. It sounds like the carbon door panel is loose because of the noise its making.

Any other owners experienced this?

The car has been in at Graypaul all day having a service and MOT and the lads have run out of time to look at it as I want it back.

Its not a massive issue as I do usually have the window open but just wondered if anyone else has experienced it???

Window regulator? Drop Glass issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried pushing on the glass (when closed) in various places while doing the speed? Does it stop?

I can handle rattles, but this is really loud, sounds like the door is falling off !

Graypaul had the door in pieces today but ran out of time to do anything more.

I'll try both suggestions tonight and see what happens.

Thanks.

Check how close the grey handle is to the carbon pocket. Mine was almost touching and at certain revs it hey came together.causing a racket.

I had the same problem with my car but it was more noticeable at speeds over 100mph. The problem was the rubber seals in between the window and door frame. All they needed was adjusting as it wasn't sealed properly... Good luck!

I went out for a blast tonight and it sounds like lower door panel so the handle theory sounds possible. I will have a play tomorrow. Thanks again.

The seat belt adjusters (behind your shoulder) rattle in my F430 in certain conditions - the sound appears to come from the door card. Check this isn't the case with yours.

Red Duke you are a brilliant lateral thinker, just in case no one has told you recently ! The 3 air intake nuts were not fully tight, put some M5 8mm nylon lock nuts on instead, ALL SOLVED. Fantastic, can't thank you enough mate
