2006 Fiat Grande Punto Sporting

Hi, thinking of buying a 1.9 diesel version of the above, mainly for it's low cost to run etc.

It has only done 38K so seems a decent price at £4500. Does anyone know of any common problems in these, or things to look out for on them specifically when I go to have a look at it?

Any advice appreciated.

We had one for a couple of years and the only problem was a sticking EGR valve which is a common issue on modern diesels.

As you might be able to tell from my username I ran one of these as my first car. I absolutely loved it and it's the only car I regret selling. Only issues I had were as mentioned above, the EGR valve and also drop-links needed replacing a couple of times under warranty.
