Classic Overfinch

The small block chevy has very similar external dimensions to a Rover V8 so nothing major
A small recess had to be cut in the scuttle(bulkhead) to allow removal of the distributor and plug leads as this is sited at the rear of the engine.
As far as I recall that is all the body mods apart from the side vents mentioned by mr camel.

Why not just add the items missing from that one back and take it for a VIC?
Got to be easier and you'll end up with a genuine Overfinch then. The advert also mentions that it's recently been resprayed, tailgates look good too.
I've been watching that on ebay but it doesn't have the Overfinch dials or seats and I'm fairly sure it won't have the door cards either.
It may have the uprated steering box and suspension though

It would appear from studying the ad that the engine has had the original injection replaced by the Edelbrock Pro-Flo system - this is good news if it works properly as you can advance the timing a good deal to get great performance.
It will have had a performer inlet manifold as well, which gives an extra 15 bhp over standard.
The beauty of this is if the injection ever gives up the ghost you can just plonk a 600 carb on there and away you go.

I think e are coming from teh same place, want the power and the handling but want a pretty stock looking interior, It would appear from studying the ad that the engine has had the original injection replaced by the Edelbrock Pro-Flo system - this is good news if it works properly as you can advance the timing a good deal to get great performance.
