STOLEN - Brian James Trailer
Discussion
Lost one of the trailers last night.
Was taken from behind the truck in a lay by on the A46 Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire border near the little Go-Kart track.
It's quite unusual in that it is a two car trailer. Brian James Twin Axle. The bed is around 24ft long so much longer than a typical car trailer.
It has some distinguishing features:
It was in an accident last year so the left hand chassis rail is of a later design to the right chassis rail. The left hand side has many more holes.
There's no Jockey Wheel - just a small stand.
It had two spare wheels and all tyres are Hankook RA08 - size 155/70 R12.
The ramp at the rear are locked in with a large ABUS padlock that a hacksaw won't cut off - it would need cutting off with a torch.
On the bed are a pair of short steel ladder ramps to load from the trailer to the truck. They're locked on with a bicycle u clamp.
The registration plate on the back is MX58 AOK.
The lights are 24v.
It's unlikely I know but it anyone sees it, please let me know! Thanks

If its any consolation, a mate of mine had a his stolen trailer returned to him not long ago after some extremely efficient police work.
I'd be delighted at that outcome! As said it's highly unusual being 24ft long enabling it to carry a Focus and Fiesta one behind the other. I've asked Brian James to build me another and they won't as they dropped them last year having sold only 19 in 16 years. Needle in a haystack...
