2001 Nissan Primera Sport Plus

As my old Primera GT was starting to pull some random but unwelcome surprises and the MOT and tax where looming I decided to have an upgrade.
This appeared on npoc forum and I couldn't resist, it was cheap as it needed some TLC but it also had alot of things that would easily get my money back if worst came to the worst and I had to sell it.

The picture was taken after I'd washed it, it was one of the filthiest cars I've ever brought, but the folder it came with led me to believe that under it all was a decent car that could be tided up.
It has had some different cams, intake mods, adjustable coil-overs and a stainless exhaust front to back with a tubular manifold. Was rolling roaded at one time with 167bhp (although I suspect its a bit less now).
Unfortunately it also came with some less desirable features due to it's recent treatment and a meeting with a lorry.

I don't know if you can make it out in the picture but the wing is hanging on, someone had tried to stick it on with mastic and when that failed put two self tapping screws clean through it, I have no idea why, so that's come off for now and until I can decide whether to tackle spraying it myself some gloss black vinyl has been used to cover the worst of what was left after I cleaned it up. I'm hoping that I can get most of the dent out when I fit a replacement light, but that's going to have to wait, any advice on dent removal will be greatly received.

The key fob remote was a bit knackered and no longer worked so I got a kit off eBay and repaired it.

The exhaust had a blow somewhere up front and I discovered from the paperwork that came with the car that the exhaust was a Long Life one so I looked up my nearest dealer who was in Basingstoke and booked it in expecting the worst. They where really good about it, I knew it was originally warranted but knew from the way other things had been fixed that it may have been "repaired" in the past. Sure enough it had, but they reinstated the warranty for a small feel and replaced the centre silencer.
It also needs a CV joint which I have already but just need time to fit and a dam good service.
Would be nice to fix the driver's seat bolster as it worn through, but as it has airbags in the seats not sure if an upholsterer will be able to help?
The intake might get returned to standard as it seems to upset the MAF and set the management light off as the Lambda sensor reads high (or low not sure but the fault is voltage high).
It's great fun to drive though and should hopefully serve me well as my daily for a while.
