Did anyone else get this recall notice?

Is this the 4.0 issue that they decide to change on the 3.8 RS for good measure?

As C2S says...3.8/4.0RSs...also had mine done immediately after recall. It's quite a big job. They replace the whole aluminium air intake manifold which is surprisingly big, and all the seals. A good 3-4hr job and mine was done after they'd done a few already, despite P(AG) giving them 2hrs for it.

Does yours seem to pull stronger since the job was done? It's probably wishful thinking on my part, that or driving a Boxster for nearly a week, (lovely car btw)) but I swear there is more grunt there now, than before the work was done!!!

Ha...wishful thinking I'm sure! I took mine on track the weekend after it was done so was just relieved everything seemed fine with it and nothing appeared compromised. I don't drive mine hard on roads as it attracts too much attention and plod, so when I had it on track afterwards it felt and sounded wonderful, especially as it moved through 8000rpm which it rarely gets on road. I had a 991S on loan and anything feels more raw after that GT experience, although it is very accomplished and drivable on our terrible B roads. So the RS is always going to feel better and more alive.

Like a good woman, always great to continually fall back in love your P&J. Enjoy!

Recall done on mine...prior to picking up last Saturday...so can't speak to the difference.
