I'm loking at a 95 Esprit and I caught the dealer in a lie about the cars history. Did the carfax thing and have the VIN. Jus want to try to find the previous owner to ask about accidents ETC.. any suggestions?

It depends on how free your state is with reg information. You may be able to go down to the local DMV and pay a fee and get the info.

Do you have a friend in the auto insurance industry?
They share a data base that is awesome unless the person did not have insurance and paid to repair the car themselves or by an individual. I do know of people that have repaired a car outside of the regular process.
