Been out to the wilder parts of the south east on a business meeting this morning! So - snuck out to the garage and got the TVR out instead of the Eurobox!!!

Glorious day!

Forgot to take a warm top - but luckily sitting on the M25 at 0.00001 mph you tend to warm up in shirt sleeves even with the top off!

Coming back we had the briefest, merest smidgeon of wet stuff. Think it's called "rain".

In the Griff, I would have just put the foot down a bit harder on the right.

In the Tuscan I got a full wash and blow dry! I was driving down the A414 in fits of laughter with more water on my face (and glasses) than were on the windscreen!!

Short of remembering Rain-X for my specs, and maybe I should take the seat squab out and sit a bit lower, I realise I'm sitting higher up! Anyone else have this???

YES. Annoying isn't it (at 6'2"). If I think it might rain I always take the shopping trolley to prevent this - roof off in that is OK.

The trip down to PistonFest was one of the worst I have experienced in the Tuscan - I could hardly see for rain hitting me in the face and had to peel off into the NEC to put the roof up - Gemini and Chim_girl deciding that I was a wimp for having the roof up.

Editted to add height

But the roof goes up about 3" from the top of the windscreen causing people over 6' to get wet. If you look at some of the videos (eg surrey run 2&3) you can see drivers heads above the level of the windscreen however there are few people who complain about head room.

1.91m - what's that about 6'3andabit". Previous owner was clearly small and dainty and hasn't crushed seat down enough. Even my bulk hasn't compressed it too much!

Ah - glad it's not just me. Not keen to take the whimps route out though

Yeah, but, no, but, yeah, but... ...it's one of those feandishly clever TVR design things that you don't really appreciate 'til you live with it. The roof section, and the curve in it, is quite brilliant. Well done TVRs design team and Ned
