That goes without saying, but you have to admit that is a hell of a soundtrack especially for something modern.

They do sound nice, but I reckon the radio would get more use in the "F" type than in the Chim.

It does sound good.

For your Chimaera, if you fit the JP manifold and cherry bomb system it will sound awesome, I think probably better than the Jag....

Mine had a totally standard system on it when I bought it. So far I have half-sleeved the box, still have the cats in. It does sound better than standard but not a huge amount. Might go for a Y-piece at some point.

Haven't heard of the JP manifold.

That sounds really nice... produces lots of horses too. However, my Chim sounds better... wish it had 490 horses though!

I had a lovely run back down along from the A34 / M4 junction all the way to the Andover exit of the A303 swapping and changing lead with one of these that was still in dealer plastic wrappings ... sounded feckin' awesome!

I have standard box, no cats and Clive's Y, At peak power around 6250 rpm the sound is beyond unholy and would frighten the crap out of the seven horsemen of the apocalypse, although there might only be five of them. Or four, I can't remember. I refuse to accept the possibility that a Jaguar could possibly sound better than my TVR. It's like suggesting Susan Boyle is better looking than Scarlett Johansen. It's a stupid silly idea. Jaguar my ar*e

My point is its pointless making the point in the first place. I mean what's the point in making a pointless point when there's no point to it. If you get my point... It's a stupid word anyway. Pencils have a point. Pointy things have points. It's all pointless. I hate points. They're useless.

In fairness, looking at your profile its not surprising your "V8Dev 5.0 lump" sounds as well as it does. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Jaguar engineers looked at your profile when deciding on the spec of the engine for the F-Type wink.
