You know it's gone well when it comes time to put her to bed and you have to move the daily drive out of the way... and struggle to get in or out of the thing because of the confusing 'handles' .

More weekends like that please mr weatherman!

Hi Zac, glad you are enjoying the weather and the car, It's just like putting the very young to bed, you just sit/stand there looking and smiling.

Im glad i'm not the only one, I tap the dash, roof, boot or wings and say "Good girl" as I smile like a child at christmas who's just got his first bike.
I have to say TVR ownership is just like a love affair.

We do all of the above and worse...There is a sort of 'stable door' into the garage at the back of the house where the bins are. Every day, first thing....'Morning Kate!' over the door rolleyes

As an aside, for the first time today, since picking her up, I took her on the motorway.

The first time was my first solo drive - it was pi55ing it down, standing water and I wasn't so sure of my investment as to vouch for stability or water tightness.

Today... I was quite mesmorized by how flat and stable she was and although the roof was fully down I was surprised I didn't mind to much! - I've hit some high speeds, but today was the only time I sustained them for any period of time, and was able to relax and take stock of the comfort levels - and I was very impressed. I think at ~70 in 5th this little car could actually be of some use!

A lot of use! Part of the appeal of these little cars is their versatility. I've been driving ours round the country lots over the past few weeks, great little motorway cruiser besides all the other qualities smile

Great couple of days in my Chim, gorgeous weather.

Similar to what was said above.... When we were stuck in traffic trying to get into Lydden Hill last bank holiday in the heat, I kept tapping the dash, praising her for not overheating and behaving impecibly (unlike some Yank V8's that were misbehaving).

The weather this weekend was fantastic, and I managed to get out every day for a blat around some nice B roads.

When you get lovely weather like this, it really does bring home how fantastic these cars are. I always like driving her, but LOVE it when the weather is so glorious.
