Picked it up on Friday afternoon from BMW Harold Wood and used it all through the long weekend. It's DCT/EDC. What a great car! Comfortable mile-muncher for the family one minute, and back road hooligan the next - I'm relishing tight 2nd gear slow corners smile

Might need to make it a bit louder but otherwise, very pleased with it!

Here's an initial photo. My wife has a Z4M Coupe in the same colour so I will have to photo them side by side.

Nice. However, yes, it can seem a bit quiet lower own the rev range... Thinking of changing the exhaust myself...

That's my local dealer...

Lovely M3, congratulations on your stunning car.

Do you have your cars serviced there?

They told me my E60 had been subject to a frontal impact, thereby explaining the failure of FOUR front headlamp units in little over a year.

(My car was completely unmarked, laughable!)

Will go to Elms in Cambridge with my F10.

If you want a louder exhaust for about £100 or so Google "E92 M3 OEM exhaust mod".

It's where you get a fabricator to modify the exhaust chamber by removing the two large vented pipes and replace them with solid pipes. The key is to only modify the two large ones and leave the two smaller pipes as standard. I did this to my E92 M3 and coupled it with a BMC air filter and the result is astonishing. Stock sound on normal motorway speeds but it really beefs up when you go wide open throttle. Mine cost £110 to modify and the air filter was £54. Absolute bargain.

There are loads of threads on M3Cutters on this subject as well as loads of videos on YouTube.

Enjoy! I went for the BMW M Performance exhaust and really happy with that although it does take a few miles/heat cycles to get to it's full potential.

Congrats OP very nice looking M.

I too can vouch for the Exhaust Mod, did this to mine about 3 weeks ago and now sounds like a V8 should.
