Never thought I would see a mk1 kit car http://passionford.com/forum/general-car-related-d... don't get me wrong I would love a mk1 with all the bells and whistles. Mmm what engine would you put in! Cossie would be obvious but left field idea of 2L tsi VW!

It is a special kit
I like it but perhaps a little to race orientated for me, I would still like 4 seats and that chassis beads the rear space for the aero

Also check out Whitspeed, they also do a spaceframe escort (or any other classic saloon IIRC) with either the original body section retaining the chassis number or with a full fibreglass body.
