Hello, the temp gauge has stopped working, all I have done so far is check there is water in ! And wiggle and wd40 the wires in the sender, that is assuming that the sender is in front of the RH front wheel.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks for any help

sensor for temp is in the engine bay on a 3L car... just under the throttle body.

the input to the guage comes from the ecu (again 3L car with MBE).

If it is a 2.5 then the part near the rad you are referring to is just a fan switch. It switches on and off based on temp. You gauge sensor is at the engine around the thermostat.

Again, if it is a 2.5 then it will have two, one goes to the gauge and the other to the ECU. Odd I know but that is how it's done.
