Time warp postings

We seem to be having a re-occurrence of the bug where people can appear to be replying to a post before the post has been made. Almost certainly a timestamp / database issue.

I know it's not just me seeing it, as I've seen people make comment on it when it occurs.

Observed under Firefox on both Win7 and WinXP PCs, and I happen to have my preferences set to Descending order, 40 posts per page, PH Classic skin, if that makes any difference.

Well that rules out the Descending order preference being the culprit then, as that's in Ascending order.

There's definitely a timing issue going on, threads in My Stuff aren't necessarily being marked as read if you go back to My Stuff quickly. But of course, it doesn't happen every time

That's a funny one. I would imagine one of our servers may have relocated itself. Probably somewhere sunny.
