Any new TX-P50VT50s left?

Trying to source a new (not ex-display) 50VT50 but really struggling. Richer, John Lewis, and Sevenoaks all coming up empty at the moment. Any suggestions?

Assuming that I've had it, what would be the best alternative for around a grand in 50" flavour?

is little brother, GT50B? saw one at my mates house at the weekend and was really impressed

From what i gather it has nearly all the same features as the VT50 aswell

Forgive me for asking, but I am going to assume you have rung Richer Sounds direct and not used simply their website to assess availability? I went to one of their shops and had just missed out on the remaining boxed set. However, they checked on their stock records, found one brand new unit in a store which I reserved and collected a week later (albeit with some journey to do). Superb customer service and price.

Yeah, tried that. One in Sheffield apparently! (Bromley is my local branch!)

Ditto - I collected mine whilst near to a midlands store but my local branch is Chelsea! Still worth a trip given the discount on offer!

I just picked up the GT50 from John Lewis as the step to the VT was really marginal other than the edge to edge glass looks.

I decided the massive price difference couldn't be justified.

Oh and the GT50 still looks spectacular!

thats why i suggested the GT50, if you compare the specs side by side the VT range only has a few extra features
