Will you lot please stop buying V12Vs? I'm getting the feeling that I'll soon be the only training bra left! Well, me and my roomie, of course. smile

In all seriousness though, is this a seasonal buying boom or are there some seriously good offers out there that don't rely purely on man maths? I was under the impression that the V12V was a fairly scarce vehicle, but looking at the current thread list.....it's full of them!

Tell me about it! V8's are becoming rare in these parts it seems scratchchin
Fair play to everyone for doing the deed though, good to see the realisation of goals/dreams for everyone getting involved with the V12 goldrush clap, still saving the pennies, just hope there are some left to buy next year smile

Combined effect of both me thinks
Summer & hooning is coming (apparently though the river out the front suggests other wise!)
AM clearing outgoing models
Possibly Centenary year push so Bez can claim best year ever as he walks out the door

Interesting insight there Mikey, hadn't though of the Bez effect. Am I correct in saying production has ceased on the V12V? Given their current popularity, they will become something of a cherished item soon, which may help residuals. Irrelevant for me, sadly, Mrs Bins is being unreasonable.

v12v replacement is announced tomorrow as per other threads, there's been some new unregistered stock floating around (dealers can't advertise them) but none available to order for a few weeks now

record year is an impossibility - record was over 7k a few yrs ago IIRC and it's ran at c. 4k p.a. the last few yrs

But am sure Bez will be pushing nevertheless - it's a good point

Yeah, I've been getting that feeling too! Us V8 boys and girls need to stick together smile

My man maths won't quite stretch to justifying a V12V - not sure if that's a good thing or not.

Go for it, stud.....as the wife likes to say (not to you btw)...

As they have ended production, you may get a deal on a 'Bin(s) End' yes

If you opt for the same colour scheme, would she notice? Mrs M would not...

Of course it is a risk

My man maths has done me wonders over the years and luckily the wife doesn't challenge any of the arithmetic involved, however the move from the Merc E350 to the upper-echelons of motordome (i.e. the DB9) didn't go unnoticed. If I change cars again within the next decade my man bits will likely be hacked off during the night. So, if you're a repeat offender then the risk may be a bit too much.....

Thought this might be about cabrios. Sold my 911 cabrio last year and now that the weather has turned for the better, I'm missing having a convertible. frown

Man up! For the 95% of days when only a metrosexual looney would have the roof down, the hardtop is a better drive smile

Assuming you're in Blighty, we actually get sunny days here. A drop top is a rather pleasant way to drive around. Besides, I don't get my nails done anymore...tongue out

coffee As with Mr Mikey K; if the roof is up, the storm outside had better have a name yes

Surley it would be cheaper and more fun to just increase the power of your V8 to near the V12V??

After all, sat in one is no different to sitting in another... Thats my opinion anyway... biggrin

Same here... Wind in your hair ( well,I used to have hair!) most rain goes over the top. Exhaust noise..wow! ..great! Would have nothing else. And no - I don't want a V12. The A to B time is what matters and the number of cylinders is not the governing factor here! driving

Haha, sounds about right.

I've only driven a convertible long distance once, and it didn't grab me. It was an American PoS, but still, I think I'd rather have it lighter and keeping the rain off smile

As Nick will shortly confirm I went to the hairdressers last night and had a 'style' cut in.

She drives a convertible too yes
