Anyone here trying to sell their TVR?

How are you finding the market at the moment and how many responses are you getting?

Has the recent good weather sparked any interest?

First draft of the ad is written - just waiting for some better weather to take some pics before I get it into the classifieds.

Will be sad to see it go but circumstances mean that it's the right thing to do

Bought my Chim 3 weeks ago.....searched the ads for a while b4 settling on it!

Just sold the Chim! Advertised it only on TVRCC site and second viewer is the new owner at a price not far from asking price (£11750) for a 98 car 450 with low milage and good chassis etc.

I bought mine in January and the seller had it advertised since around August I think. I made contact in about November and told him I was very interested and was saving up aggressively.

I'm too new in to know if the market is better or worse than previously but the impression I get is that the vast majority including many owners from new are just not 'right' for these cars.

Mine is currently on the market, has been for about a month now.

A few enquiries but nothing solid, some Paypal idiots too. The market seems generally pretty slow though across marques, as I'm looking at a R8 next which don't seem to be shifting quickly either.

Its all down to where you advertise it, the price and the opposition, but most of all, YOUR motivation to sell!
