Does anyone know what the seatbelt is out of or do I have to get a specific Tvr one?

Would something like this work

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-Point-Universal-Seat-B...

It looks very much the same in terms of mounting and its a 7th of the cost of a Tvr one, of course though it obviously needs to potentially save my life so don't want to cut a corner iykwim, just don't fancy spending 150 if I can get the same for less smile

Thankyao smile

something to do with the orientation of its mounting and the way the weight pivots

so if you stop on slight incline it jams up, not sure which type is best

but dont think stock setup is 100%

I'd be interested as well as I have the passenger one to change at some point and would like to change to red ones.

Yes mine was doing the typical jamming on an incline thing but with a second pull would come out, until it totally wouldn't, then I took it apart, then ....err well I destroyed it hehe

Forgot to update this....

Thanks Simon smile I'm all sorted though now though, thanks for the kind offer though smile

For future reference I got a belt from securicon for under £30 with next day delivery.

I got the 300 length, really you need the size down, 280 I think as mine is ever so slightly too long, it's fine when it's in use but there's a bit of slack when you take it off iykwim.

This is the number I phoned off here

Ask for the slightly shorter belt and swap the buckle/stalk for a 12cm one.

Sure beats £150 and the quality is spot on
