Hi guys thought id post on here and ask for some advice. Ive had stabbing pains in my left leg all day and it isnt relieved with movement or rest.
I have recently had a slight bit of back pain as well but im not sure if its contributed to my leg.

Any advice would be appretiated althought I know that ive not had huge amounts of details to supply.

Could be Sciatica. Try some Voltarol as you need to reduce the inflamation. Failing that speak to your doctor about getting something more potent such as Sodium Diclofenic.

Voltarol is diclofenac, just in a different form.

The pain seems to have gone over night, took a paracetamol before I went to bed and it seems to be ok.

Damn it hurt though.

Yes it's potassium not sodium. So is the diclofenic the important bit and not the element it's dervided from? You might have guessed I have no idea beyond discovering after many months of suffering with quite serious sciatica that the potassium diclofenic in Voltarol is ok but sodium diclofenic prescribed by my doc was little short of a miracle cure.

The most direct and effective way to get drugs into the body is intravenously, or if possible directly into the area affected.
Then by swallowing, then rubbing cream on. I've used voltarol cream quite a bit (hip, knee, lower back) but I'm not at all convinced at its efficacy. smile
The voltarol prescribed by your doctor will also be a lot stronger than any over-the-counter stuff. I found cerebrex worked quite well also, though I didn't used it for my lower back. It was also kinder to my stomach.
