Stunning but have to agree, if you want one to drive spend a lot less, also heard comments on here of a 2000 ish mileage one that had had serious oil leak issues due to lack of use and seals going hard based Dorset way I think, might well be that car, worth checking out if anyone does go and look at it. Underuse can be as problematic as abusive use as said many times on PH!

Lovely but you can't drive the thing!
Turn key, select gear, press loud pedal

Well, there is a buyer for everything.
Agreed, its not suited to someone who will put on say 5K+ miles a year.
However, if you have a proper collection of say 8+ cars where it will do a few hundred miles only, then its a good example to add to it.
I assume there is a margin for negotiation on that price as well.

£65k tops. with the wind behind it.
You can buy a mint 3k miles 7RS for £79k, 7.2RS for £90k. Yeah yeah I know they only made 686 996 RS's, first of the water-cooled, raw as fook etc etc, but it's still a 996 - the less prettiest of all RS 911's...

Fook me, that's "interesting".
I drove this beauty a couple of weekends ago.

Ex Guernsey car sold by OPC Bolton to my pal for rather less a couple of months ago. My only gripe was that he beat me to it...
I know one of the old owners of MV04 GJZ! Wonderful, wonderful memories!I drove this beauty a couple of weekends ago.

The Dick Lovett car is fabulous. To some extent it's worth buying just because it's immaculate and not modified and tracked to hell. Use it anyway!
996RS. Brings a smile to my face even 5 years later.

I saw that car at Bolton Rob. She's a looker!
She looked even better after a couple of wet laps of the Evo Triangle!I was privileged to take it for a couple of gentle laps around the Anglesey Circuit the following day - was certainly a different experience to the Spyder that's for sure! I'm sure its current keeper will be looking after it well.

On the one hand that is a ridiculous price. On the other, I honestly think that someone out there will pay it. And if someone commits the crime of underusing and pampering it for the next decade, someone else will pay them a lot more than that for it.....Air con, litronics and PCCB.

I really don't know if I want a happy smiley or a sad one for that.

Porsche's don't appear to be as mileage-sensitive as the likes of Ferrari, so i can't see a 2k mile RS holding this kind of premium over a well-documented 20-30k miler in 10/20/30... years time.Obviously all IMO
