Anybody know where the ECU loom gets its earth from - I have a few electrical problems. The ECU case does not appear to be earthed and the fuel pump relay is not getting earthed either

cheers

The V8S has a broadly similar loom and it all earths onto the front of the passenger side outrigger. The Chim body is different so it is probably in a different place, but you should still be able to find it by following all the back wires out of the footwell!

I found one earthing point at the weekend. There is a tray type moulding to the engine bay bodywork below and just behind the radiator. This part of the body is bolted to the chassis using two bolts, one into each end of the left & right hand main chassis rails.

There are two earthing cables on my Chimeara (W reg 4.5) clamped under the right-hand bolt head. If you look over the o/s wing into the engine bay and look for the bottom hose, the bolt is located under the hose and slightly obscured from view.

I cannot confirm whether this is one of the earth points you need? They may simply be used by local electrical components such as the lights and horns.
