sales presentation for interview - never done one!!
Discussion
as per the title I have a presentation to make up and do on a the company I've got a second interview for, this was arranged yesterday for tomorrow.
The problem I have is that i have never been in this situation to give one for interview and quite frankly I'm bricking it!!
What can expect them to expect?? do i sell them they idea of there own company or do i show i know what the company do and expect of me in this role?

Easiest advice is to learn learn and learn... stay away from copying and pasting the website into your slides... the others will do that.
Assuming you'll have 10 minutes, I'd go for the following structure:
Slide 1) Summary and overview of the company (when founded, history, size in the market etc...). Get some good things in here about how they are the market leader, or biggest or best or whatever (look for marketing collateral on their website)
Slide 2) A few small bullet points on their key offers and more importantly their key differentiators. Why are they better, why would you buy their product / service over someone else. Sell them to themselves!
Slide 3) A few small bullets on why the items in slide 2 are important. What satisfaction or outcome is derived from using their product or service? Why would someone use it.. remember this isn't a benefit... this is a purpose, a reason for someone to buy it. For example... X product saves you money in your back office process is a benefit, but why would someone want to do that? Increase margins? Improve customer service?
That would keep me busy for hours! Keep it short though, and practice practice practice.
Some general tips:
Use a few words as possible on the slides
Don't copy and paste from the website, put it in your own words
Don't read from the slides, use them as a prompt to then speak from. You must have learnt your content to achieve this.
Make the slides look nice. Far too many I've seen are white background with 3 black bullet pointed texts on the slides. Add their logo, choose a simple slide master that matches the company colours. Copy their fonts and branding as must as possible, make it look like they have written it!
Finally, practice... did I mention that?
