Sigma 50-500mm f/4.5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM
Discussion
Not got one - but did use the *150*-500 version for part* of a week as a lend on a safari trip - pretty impressed on the whole, but damn heavy, was very impressed with the OS
Not sure what the relationship between the 150-500 and 50-500 are - logic would suggest that the 150 is less optically compromised. On the whole I'm a fan of Sigma kit - I have a 70-200/2.8 HSM (non os), and it rocks.
(*) for the rest of the week some nice chap lent me the 120-300/2.8 sigma. Now that IS nice. Still used it stopped down a bit, but the AF tracking was SO much faster - if I hadn't used that I'd have thought the 150-500 was the best thing since sliced bread.

, Off to the Mach Loop for Monday to try it out. Took a few hand held shots to day and impressive with the OS helping out a lot I suspect.
