SP12s

Thinking of replacing my Imolas with a set of SP12's as they appear to be the best inkeeping TVR wheel upgrade and big weight reduction. Where is the best place to buy them and what is the best combination : 17x7.5 front, 18x8 rear, 17s all round ?

I have 17"s on the front and 18"s on the rear. As to where to but them, I would search the Interweb-abyis. TVR Power and ACT sell them too.

Good choice of wheel, very happy with mine.

The "proper" SP12's only come in 7 x 17 front and 8 x 18 rear for the Chim. Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 are similar and can be had in other sizes but have writing inset into the rim and are not TVR specific fitments/spec.

ACT is the place to buy SP12's.

Here's what 17x7 and 18x8 look like with Toyo 888s on a Chimaera. I say 888s because they have bigger shoulders. Despite being quite a traditionalist old fart, I am giving serious consideration to making my SP12s less "blingy" by spraying them gunmetal grey
